How To Get Back On Track

I don’t know about you but after a bunch of travel, cookies, and time with loved ones I’m having a hard time getting back into my routine.
Getting back on track after the holidays is TOUGH, especially when we’re expected to get a jump start on our 2019 goals starting January 1st. We’re usually so far removed from our routine at this point that our body and mind actively resist our attempts to realign our behaviors to our goals.
No matter what you do, avoid the practices on the left. Some of them MIGHT work in the short term, but you set yourself up for failure and diet rebounding in the future.
Easing back into a routine with the practices on the right *when you’re ready* will set you up for long-term success even if it takes a bit longer to see progress in the beginning.
And remember, no matter how bad things got over the holidays, there’s always a way to come back. No shame, no guilt. No matter your goals, you can do this!
